The name sounds a little evil, but the fly redeems itself by catching fish. Actually, Hellgammites are the larval stage of the Dobsonfly or King Bug. Large stoneflies are often referred to by the name Hellgrammite as well. The Black Hellgrammite Nymph may represent either creature. The beauty is that the fish don't seem confused and they will readily gulp it whether they think it's a stonefly or king bug. Lucky for us anglers. Fish these big boys down deep with a lot of weight. 015-765 020-122
