Designed to be the cutting tools of choice in the kitchen, these culinary companions include high-carbon stainless steel blades for easy maintenance and lightweight handles formed of Sermollan for a secure and slip-resistant grip (even when hands are wet). The Utility Knife and Small Utility Knife feature a flat-ground spearpoint style blade. The thin, flexible blade passes through food easily and incorporates new multi-level SpyderEdge serrations (patent pending) that improve edge retention. With two levels of serrations, the penetration points (ortips) on the first level protect the tips on the second level. These two sets of tips together protect the sharpened recessed curves. As the first level wears, the second level takes its place. The Santoku, a Japanese-style cook's knife with a plain edge, is ideal for chopping dicing and mincing.
